YMCA TRADITIONAL DAY CAMP 

There is no place like Y Day Camp. A home away from home where your children laugh, learn, explore and grow in the outdoors while creating memories and friendships that last a lifetime.

YMCA REGIONAL OUTDOOR DAY CAMP AT HARGIS RETREAT 

Unlike other summer day camps, Regional Outdoor Day Camp at Hargis Retreat is real camp! 

Situated on more than 200 wooded acres in Chelsea, Hargis Retreat is blessed with miles of hiking trails, a rock face for climbing and a private lake for canoeing, fishing and swimming, all located in a breathtaking valley in the shadow of Double Oak Mountain. 

With a swimming pool, grass fields for games and activities and other amenities, Regional Outdoor Day Camp at Hargis Retreat is the perfect backdrop for traditional outdoor camp activities like:

YMCA CAMP COSBY 

The YMCA of Greater Birmingham’s sleep-away camp, Camp Cosby, offers a one-week, co-ed, safe and structured experience on the shores of Logan Martin Lake. 

YMCA Camp Cosby is a weeklong sleep-away camp experience for boys and girls ages 6 to 16, providing safe adventures on 135 acres nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in East Alabama. 

With our first-rate staff, variety of activities, beautiful landscape and amazing views on the shores of Lake Logan Martin, Camp Cosby is the perfect camp atmosphere to over 2,000 campers each summer.
